In Memory of Amir (1987-2024)
Amir was born and raised in Nahalal. He was an outstanding combat soldier in the Egoz commando unit, a basketball player and coach, a motorcycle tour guide, an entrepreneur, and an active partner in the family farm.
During Operation Protective Edge, he was seriously wounded. Following his injury, and against all odds, he went on to win one of the world’s toughest motorcycle rallies – the Himalaya Rally.
Amir later struggled with PTSD as a result of his combat experience.
Derech HaLochem (“The Warrior’s Way”) was established in his memory, with the mission of providing support and care for IDF combat veterans coping with the effects of battle.
The farm sees it as a duty to stand with those who were wounded while fighting for us, and to be for them a warm, loving, and supportive home
